About Us and Our Work

Maple Leaf Academy is an innovative STEAM early childhood education program serving infants, toddlers, and preschoolers from six weeks to five years of age.

We utilize a research-based curriculum in all of our classrooms and add in STEAM Learning Labs to ensure your child successfully learns and grows in the five major areas of child development: cognitive, social emotional, speech and language, fine motor skills, and gross motor skills.

Early Childhood Development: We accept children from 6 weeks of age to age 5. Our research-based curriculum focuses on child development in all the areas of Indiana's Early Learning Foundations, and we utilize their whole-child assessment to track their growth. Families receive updates on their progress daily and weekly, through our family-communication software.

Our Staff: Our Director has a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education witha concentration in Early Childhood. Lead Teachers are CDA certified (Child Development Associate) or higher and have been formally trained in STEAM early childhood education. Your child will benefit from classroom-oriented lessons designed to accelerate their education and help them transition into an elementary classroom setting more easily.

Safety is Our #1 Priority: Our Academy is safe and secure. Outside doors are kept locked and can only be opened from the inside or by integrated security control system access panels. We also routinely practice storm, fire, and lock-down drills.

Healthy Meals: Maple Leaf Academy offers healthy eating education to instill the importance of good nutrition to live a balanced, healthy life. We provide a healthy environment for children to learn, eat, play and grow. Children will receive nutritious meals through our U. S. Department of Agriculture’s Child Nutrition Program.

Social Development: At Maple Leaf there will be many more children with whom your child can interact with and practice social skills. Your child will be placed with, and kept with, other children of the same age group.
